호세아8장

1나팔을 네 입에 댈찌어다 대적이 독수리처럼 여호와의 집에 덮치리니 이는 무리가 내 언약을 어기며 내 율법을 범함이로다

2저희가 장차 내게 부르짖기를 나의 하나님이여 우리 이스라엘이 주를 아나이다 하리라

3이스라엘이 이미 선을 싫어 버렸으니 대적이 저를 따를 것이라

4저희가 왕들을 세웠으나 내게서 말미암지 아니하였고 저희가 방백들을 세웠으나 나의 모르는바며 저희가 또 그 은, 금으로 자기를 위하여 우상을 만들었나니 파멸을 이루리라

5사마리아여 네 송아지는 버리웠느니라 내 노가 무리를 향하여 타오르나니 저희가 어느 때에야 능히 무죄하겠느냐

6이것은 이스라엘에서 나고 공장이 만든 것이라 참 신이 아니니 사마리아의 송아지가 부숴뜨리우리라

7저희가 바람을 심고 광풍을 거둘 것이라 심은 것이 줄기가 없으며 이삭은 열매를 맺히지 못할 것이요 설혹 맺힐찌라도 이방 사람이 삼키리라

8이스라엘은 이미 삼키웠은즉 이제 열국 가운데 있는 것이 기뻐하지 아니하는 그릇 같도다

9저희가 홀로 처한 들 나귀처럼 앗수르로 갔고 에브라임이 값 주고 연애하는 자들을 얻었도다

10저희가 열방 사람에게 값을 주었을찌라도 이제 내가 저희를 모으리니 저희가 모든 방백의 임금의 지워준 짐을 인하여 쇠하기 시작하리라

11에브라임이 죄를 위하여 제단을 많이 만들더니 그 제단이 저로 범죄케 하는 것이 되었도다

12내가 저를 위하여 내 율법을 만가지로 기록하였으나 저희가 관계 없는 것으로 여기도다

13내게 드리는 제물로 말할찌라도 저희가 고기로 제사를 드리고 먹거니와 여호와는 그것을 기뻐하지 아니하고 이제 저희의 죄악을 기억하여 그 죄를 벌하리니 저희가 애굽으로 다시 가리라

14이스라엘은 자기를 지은 자를 잊어버리고 전각들을 세웠으며 유다는 견고한 성읍을 많이 쌓았으나 내가 그 고을들에 불을 보내어 그 성들을 삼키게 하리라

Hosea08

1'Put the trumpet to your lips! An eagle is over the house of the LORD because the people have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.

2Israel cries out to me, 'O our God, we acknowledge you!'

3But Israel has rejected what is good; an enemy will pursue him.

4They set up kings without my consent; they choose princes without my approval. With their silver and gold they make idols for themselves to their own destruction.

5Throw out your calf-idol, O Samaria! My anger burns against them. How long will they be incapable of purity?

6They are from Israel! This calf-a craftsman has made it; it is not God. It will be broken in pieces, that calf of Samaria.

7'They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no head; it will produce no flour. Were it to yield grain, foreigners would swallow it up.

8Israel is swallowed up; now she is among the nations like a worthless thing.

9For they have gone up to Assyria like a wild donkey wandering alone. Ephraim has sold herself to lovers.

10Although they have sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them together. They will begin to waste away under the oppression of the mighty king.

11'Though Ephraim built many altars for sin offerings, these have become altars for sinning.

12I wrote for them the many things of my law, but they regarded them as something alien.

13They offer sacrifices given to me and they eat the meat, but the LORD is not pleased with them. Now he will remember their wickedness and punish their sins: They will return to Egypt.

14Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; Judah has fortified many towns. But I will send fire upon their cities that will consume their fortresses.'

호세아9장

1이스라엘아 너는 이방 사람처럼 기뻐 뛰놀지 말라 네가 행음하여 네 하나님을 떠나고 각 타작 마당에서 음행의 값을 좋아 하였느니라

2타작 마당이나 술틀이 저희를 기르지 못할 것이며 새포도주도 떨어질 것이요

3저희가 여호와의 땅에 거하지 못하며 에브라임이 애굽으로 다시 가고 앗수르에서 더러운 것을 먹을 것이니라

4저희가 여호와께 전제를 드리지 못하며 여호와의 기뻐하시는 바도 되지 못할 것이라 저희의 제물은 거상 입은 자의 식물과 같아서 무릇 그것을 먹는 자는 더러워지나니 저희의 식물은 자기 먹기에만 소용될 뿐이라 여호와의 집에 드릴 것이 아님이니라

5너희가 명절일과 여호와의 절일에 무엇을 하겠느냐

6보라 저희가 멸망을 피하여 갈찌라도 애굽은 저희를 모으고 놉은 저희를 장사하리니 저희의 은 보물은 찔레가 덮을 것이요 저희의 장막 안에는 가시 덩굴이 퍼지리라

7형벌의 날이 이르렀고 보응의 날이 임한 것을 이스라엘이 알찌라 선지자가 어리석었고 신에 감동하는 자가 미쳤나니 이는 네 죄악이 많고 네 원한이 큼이니라

8에브라임은 내 하나님의 파숫군이어늘 선지자는 그 모든 행위에 새 잡는 자의 그물 같고 또 그 하나님의 전에서 원한을 품었도다

9저희는 기브아의 시대와 같이 심히 패괴한지라 여호와께서 그 악을 기억하시고 그 죄를 벌하시리라

10옛적에 내가 이스라엘 만나기를 광야에서 포도를 만남 같이 하였으며 너희 열조 보기를 무화과 나무에서 처음 맺힌 첫 열매를 봄 같이 하였거늘 저희가 바알브올에 가서 부끄러운 우상에게 몸을 드림으로 저희의 사랑하는 우상 같이 가증하여졌도다

11에브라임의 영광이 새 같이 날아 가리니 해산함이나 아이 뱀이나 잉태함이 없으리라

12혹 저희가 자식을 기를찌라도 내가 그 자식을 없이하여 한 사람도 남기지 아니할 것이라 내가 저희를 떠나는 때에는 저희에게 화가 미치리로다

13내가 보건대 에브라임은 아름다운 곳에 심긴 두로와 같으나 그 자식들을 살인하는 자에게로 끌어 내리로다

14여호와여 저희에게 주소서 무엇을 주시려나이까 청컨대 배지 못하는 태와 젖 없는 유방을 주시옵소서

15저희의 모든 악이 길갈에 있으므로 내가 거기서 저희를 미워하였노라 그 행위가 악하므로 내 집에서 쫓아내고 다시는 사랑하지 아니하리라 그 방백들은 다 패역한 자니라

16에브라임이 침을 입고 그 뿌리가 말라 과실을 맺지 못하나니 비록 아이를 낳을지라도 내가 그 사랑하는 태의 열매를 죽이리라

17저희가 듣지 아니하므로 내 하나님이 저희를 버리시리니 저희가 열국 가운데 유리하는 자가 되리라

Hosea09

1Do not rejoice, O Israel; do not be jubilant like the other nations. For you have been unfaithful to your God; you love the wages of a prostitute at every threshing floor.

2Threshing floors and winepresses will not feed the people; the new wine will fail them.

3They will not remain in the LORD's land; Ephraim will return to Egypt and eat unclean food in Assyria.

4They will not pour out wine offerings to the LORD, nor will their sacrifices please him. Such sacrifices will be to them like the bread of mourners; all who eat them will be unclean. This food will be for themselves; it will not come into the temple of the LORD.

5What will you do on the day of your appointed feasts, on the festival days of the LORD?

6Even if they escape from destruction, Egypt will gather them, and Memphis will bury them. Their treasures of silver will be taken over by briers, and thorns will overrun their tents.

7The days of punishment are coming, the days of reckoning are at hand. Let Israel know this. Because your sins are so many and your hostility so great, the prophet is considered a fool, the inspired man a maniac.

8The prophet, along with my God, is the watchman over Ephraim, yet snares await him on all his paths, and hostility in the house of his God.

9They have sunk deep into corruption, as in the days of Gibeah. God will remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.

10'When I found Israel, it was like finding grapes in the desert; when I saw your fathers, it was like seeing the early fruit on the fig tree. But when they came to Baal Peor, they consecrated themselves to that shameful idol and became as vile as the thing they loved.

11Ephraim's glory will fly away like a bird-no birth, no pregnancy, no conception.

12Even if they rear children, I will bereave them of every one. Woe to them when I turn away from them!

13I have seen Ephraim, like Tyre, planted in a pleasant place. But Ephraim will bring out their children to the slayer.'

14Give them, O LORD-what will you give them? Give them wombs that miscarry and breasts that are dry.

15'Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal, I hated them there. Because of their sinful deeds, I will drive them out of my house. I will no longer love them; all their leaders are rebellious.

16Ephraim is blighted, their root is withered, they yield no fruit. Even if they bear children, I will slay their cherished offspring.'

17My God will reject them because they have not obeyed him; they will be wanderers among the nations.
