The Trials and History of the Watchman
미가7장
1재앙이로다 나여 나는 여름 실과를 딴 후와 포도를 거둔 후 같아서 먹을 송이가 없으며 내 마음에 사모하는 처음 익은 무화과가 없도다
2이와 같이 선인이 세상에서 끊쳤고 정직자가 인간에 없도다 무리가 다 피를 흘리려고 매복하며 각기 그물로 형제를 잡으려 하고
3두 손으로 악을 부지런히 행하도다 그 군장과 재판자는 뇌물을 구하며 대인은 마음의 악한 사욕을 발하며 서로 연락을 취하니
4그들의 가장 선한 자라도 가시 같고 가장 정직한 자라도 찔레 울타리보다 더하도다 그들의 파숫군들의 날 곧 그들의 형벌의 날이 임하였으니 이제는 그들이 요란하리로다
5너희는 이웃을 믿지 말며 친구를 의지하지 말며 네 품에 누운 여인에게라도 네 입의 문을 지킬찌어다
6아들이 아비를 멸시하며 딸이 어미를 대적하며 며느리가 시어미를 대적하리니 사람의 원수가 곧 자기의 집안 사람이리로다
7오직 나는 여호와를 우러러보며 나를 구원하시는 하나님을 바라보나니 나의 하나님이 나를 들으시리로다
8나의 대적이여 나로 인하여 기뻐하지 말찌어다 나는 엎드러질찌라도 일어날 것이요 어두운데 앉을찌라도 여호와께서 나의 빛이 되실 것임이로다
9내가 여호와께 범죄하였으니 주께서 나를 위하여 심판하사 신원하시기까지는 그의 노를 당하려니와 주께서 나를 인도하사 광명에 이르게 하시리니 내가 그의 의를 보리로다
10나의 대적이 이것을 보고 부끄러워하리니 그는 전에 내게 말하기를 네 하나님 여호와가 어디 있느냐 하던 자라 그가 거리의 진흙 같이 밟히리니 그것을 내가 목도하리로다
11네 성벽을 건축하는 날 곧 그 날에는 지경이 넓혀질 것이라
12그 날에는 앗수르에서 애굽 성읍들에까지, 애굽에서 하수까지, 이 바다에서 저 바다까지, 이 산에서 저 산까지의 사람들이 네게로 돌아올 것이나
13그 땅은 그 거민의 행위의 열매로 인하여 황무하리로다
14원컨대 주는 주의 지팡이로 주의 백성 곧 갈멜속 삼림에 홀로 거하는 주의 기업의 떼를 먹이시되 그들을 옛날 같이 바산과 길르앗에서 먹이옵소서
15가라사대 네가 애굽 땅에서 나오던 날과 같이 내가 그들에게 기사를 보이리라
16가로되 열방이 보고 자기의 세력을 부끄려서 손으로 그 입을 막을 것이요 귀는 막힐 것이오며
17그들이 뱀처럼 티끌을 핥으며 땅에 기는 벌레처럼 떨며 그 좁은 구멍에서 나와서 두려워하며 우리 하나님 여호와께로 돌아와서 주로 인하여 두려워하리이다
18주와 같은 신이 어디있으리이까 주께서는 죄악을 사유하시며 그 기업의 남은 자의 허물을 넘기시며 인애를 기뻐하심으로 노를 항상 품지 아니하시나이다
19다시 우리를 긍휼히 여기셔서 우리의 죄악을 발로 밟으시고 우리의 모든 죄를 깊은 바다에 던지시리이다
20주께서 옛적에 우리 열조에게 맹세하신대로 야곱에게 성실을 베푸시며 아브라함에게 인애를 더하시리이다
Micah 07
1What misery is mine! I am like one who gathers summer fruit at the gleaning of the vineyard; there is no cluster of grapes to eat, none of the early figs that I crave.
2The godly have been swept from the land; not one upright man remains. All men lie in wait to shed blood; each hunts his brother with a net.
3Both hands are skilled in doing evil; the ruler demands gifts, the judge accepts bribes, the powerful dictate what they desire-they all conspire together.
4The best of them is like a brier, the most upright worse than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen has come, the day God visits you. Now is the time of their confusion.
5Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with her who lies in your embrace be careful of your words.
6For a son dishonors his father, a daughter rises up against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law-a man's enemies are the members of his own household.
7But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
8Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.
9Because I have sinned against him, I will bear the LORD's wrath, until he pleads my case and establishes my right. He will bring me out into the light; I will see his righteousness.
10Then my enemy will see it and will be covered with shame, she who said to me, 'Where is the LORD your God?' My eyes will see her downfall; even now she will be trampled underfoot like mire in the streets.
11The day for building your walls will come, the day for extending your boundaries.
12In that day people will come to you from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, even from Egypt to the Euphrates and from sea to sea and from mountain to mountain.
13The earth will become desolate because of its inhabitants, as the result of their deeds.
14Shepherd your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, which lives by itself in a forest, in fertile pasturelands. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead as in days long ago.
15'As in the days when you came out of Egypt, I will show them my wonders.'
16Nations will see and be ashamed, deprived of all their power. They will lay their hands on their mouths and their ears will become deaf.
17They will lick dust like a snake, like creatures that crawl on the ground. They will come trembling out of their dens; they will turn in fear to the LORD our God and will be afraid of you.
18Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
19You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
20You will be true to Jacob, and show mercy to Abraham, as you pledged on oath to our fathers in days long ago.

미가6장
1너희는 여호와의 말씀을 들을찌어다 내게 이르시기를 너는 일어나서 산 앞에서 쟁변하여 작은 산으로 네 목소리를 듣게 하라 하셨나니
2너희 산들과 땅의 견고한 지대들아 너희는 여호와의 쟁변을 들으라 여호와께서 자기 백성과 쟁변하시며 이스라엘과 변론하실 것이라
3이르시기를 내 백성아 내가 무엇을 네게 행하였으며 무엇에 너를 괴롭게 하였느냐 너는 내게 증거하라
4내가 너를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내어 종노릇 하는 집에서 속량하였고 모세와 아론과 미리암을 보내어 네 앞에 행하게 하였었느니라
5내 백성아 너는 모압 왕 발락의 꾀한 것과 브올의 아들 발람이 그에게 대답한 것을 추억하며 싯딤에서부터 길갈까지의 일을 추억하라 그리하면 나 여호와의 의롭게 행한 것을 알리라 하실 것이니라
6내가 무엇을 가지고 여호와 앞에 나아가며 높으신 하나님께 경배할까 내가 번제물 일년 된 송아지를 가지고 그 앞에 나아갈까
7여호와께서 천천의 수양이나 만만의 강수 같은 기름을 기뻐하실까 내 허물을 위하여 내 맏아들을, 내 영혼의 죄를 인하여 내 몸의 열매를 드릴까
8사람아 주께서 선한 것이 무엇임을 네게 보이셨나니 여호와께서 네게 구하시는 것이 오직 공의를 행하며 인자를 사랑하며 겸손히 네 하나님과 함께 행하는 것이 아니냐
9여호와께서 성읍을 향하여 외쳐 부르시나니 완전한 지혜는 주의 이름을 경외함이니라 너희는 매를 순히 받고 그것을 정하신 자를 순종할찌니라
10악인의 집에 오히려 불의한 재물이 있느냐 축소시킨 가증한 에바가 있느냐
11내가 만일 부정한 저울을 썼거나 주머니에 거짓 저울추를 두었으면 깨끗하겠느냐
12그 부자들은 강포가 가득하였고 그 거민들은 거짓을 말하니 그 혀가 입에서 궤사하도다
13그러므로 나도 너를 쳐서 중히 상하게 하였으며 네 죄를 인하여 너를 적막하게 하였나니
14네가 먹으나 배부르지 못하고 속이 항상 빌 것이며 네가 감추나 보존되지 못하겠고 보존된 것은 내가 칼에 붙일 것이며
15네가 씨를 뿌리나 추수하지 못할 것이며 감람을 밟으나 기름을 네 몸에 바르지 못할 것이며 포도를 밟으나 술을 마시지 못하리라
16너희가 오므리의 율례와 아합 집의 모든 행위를 지키고 그들의 꾀를 좇으니 이는 나로 너희를 황무케 하며 그 거민으로 사람의 치솟거리를 만들게 하려 함이라 너희가 내 백성의 수욕을 담당하리라
Micah 06
1Listen to what the LORD says: 'Stand up, plead your case before the mountains; let the hills hear what you have to say.
2Hear, O mountains, the LORD's accusation; listen, you everlasting foundations of the earth. For the LORD has a case against his people; he is lodging a charge against Israel.
3'My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me.
4I brought you up out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. I sent Moses to lead you, also Aaron and Miriam.
5My people, remember what Balak king of Moab counseled and what Balaam son of Beor answered. Remember your journey from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of the LORD.'
6With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
7Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
9Listen! The LORD is calling to the city-and to fear your name is wisdom-'Heed the rod and the One who appointed it.
10Am I still to forget, O wicked house, your ill-gotten treasures and the short ephah, which is accursed?
11Shall I acquit a man with dishonest scales, with a bag of false weights?
12Her rich men are violent; her people are liars and their tongues speak deceitfully.
13Therefore, I have begun to destroy you, to ruin you because of your sins.
14You will eat but not be satisfied; your stomach will still be empty. You will store up but save nothing, because what you save I will give to the sword.
15You will plant but not harvest; you will press olives but not use the oil on yourselves, you will crush grapes but not drink the wine.
16You have observed the statutes of Omri and all the practices of Ahab's house, and you have followed their traditions. Therefore I will give you over to ruin and your people to derision; you will bear the scorn of the nations."

예레미야애가2장
1슬프다 주께서 어찌 그리 진노하사 처녀 시온을 구름으로 덮으셨는고 이스라엘의 아름다운 것을 하늘에서 땅에 던지셨음이여 진노하신 날에 그 발등상을 기억지 아니하셨도다
2주께서 야곱의 모든 거처를 삼키시고 긍휼히 여기지 아니하셨음이여 노하사 처녀 유다의 견고한 성을 헐어 땅에 엎으시고 나라와 방백으로 욕되게 하셨도다
3맹렬한 진노로 이스라엘 모든 뿔을 자르셨음이여 원수 앞에서 오른손을 거두시고 맹렬한 불이 사방으로 사름 같이 야곱을 사르셨도다
4원수 같이 활을 당기고 대적처럼 오른손을 들고 서서 눈에 아름다운 모든 자를 살륙하셨음이여 처녀 시온의 장막에 노를 불처럼 쏟으셨도다
5주께서 원수 같이 되어 이스라엘을 삼키셨음이여 모든 궁을 삼키셨고 견고한 성들을 훼파하사 처녀 유다에 근심과 애통을 더하셨도다
6성막을 동산의 초막 같이 헐어 버리시며 공회 처소를 훼파하셨도다 여호와께서 시온 가운데서 절기와 안식일을 잊어버리게 하시며 진노하사 왕과 제사장을 멸시하셨도다
7여호와께서 또 자기 제단을 버리시며 자기 성소를 미워하시며 궁장을 원수의 손에 붙이셨으매 저희가 여호와의 전에서 훤화하기를 절기날과 같이 하였도다
8여호와께서 처녀 시온의 성을 헐기로 결심하시고 줄을 띠고 훼파함에서 손을 거두지 아니하사 성과 곽으로 통곡하게 하셨으매 저희가 함께 쇠하였도다
9성문이 땅에 묻히며 빗장이 꺾여 훼파되고 왕과 방백들이 율법 없는 열방 가운데 있으며 그 선지자들은 여호와의 묵시를 받지 못하는도다
10처녀 시온의 장로들이 땅에 앉아 잠잠하고 티끌을 머리에 무릅쓰고 굵은 베를 허리에 둘렀음이여 예루살렘 처녀들은 머리를 땅에 숙였도다
11내 눈이 눈물에 상하며 내 창자가 끓으며 내 간이 땅에 쏟아졌으니 이는 처녀 내 백성이 패망하여 어린 자녀와 젖먹는 아이들이 성읍 길거리에 혼미함이로다
12저희가 성읍 길거리에서 상한 자처럼 혼미하여 그 어미의 품에서 혼이 떠날 때에 어미에게 이르기를 곡식과 포도주가 어디 있느뇨 하도다
13처녀 예루살렘이여 내가 무엇으로 네게 증거하며 무엇으로 네게 비유할꼬 처녀 시온이여 내가 무엇으로 네게 비교하여 너를 위로할꼬 너의 파괴됨이 바다 같이 크니 누가 너를 고칠소냐
14네 선지자들이 네게 대하여 헛되고 어리석은 묵시를 보았으므로 네 죄악을 드러내어서 네 사로잡힌 것을 돌이키지 못하였도다 저희가 거짓 경고와 미혹케 할 것만 보았도다
15무릇 지나가는 자는 다 너를 향하여 박장하며 처녀 예루살렘을 향하여 비소하고 머리를 흔들며 말하기를 온전한 영광이라, 천하의 희락이라 일컫던 성이 이 성이냐 하며
16너의 모든 원수는 너를 향하여 입을 벌리며 비소하고 이를 갈며 말하기를 우리가 저를 삼켰도다 우리가 바라던 날이 과연 이 날이라 우리가 얻기도 하고 보기도 하였다 하도다
17여호와께서 이미 정하신 일을 행하시고 옛날에 명하신 말씀을 다 이루셨음이여 긍휼히 여기지 아니하시고 훼파하사 원수로 너를 인하여 즐거워하게 하며 너의 대적의 뿔로 높이 들리게 하셨도다
18저희 마음이 주를 향하여 부르짖기를 처녀 시온의 성곽아 너는 밤낮으로 눈물을 강처럼 흘릴찌어다 스스로 쉬지 말고 네 눈동자로 쉬게 하지 말찌어다
19밤 초경에 일어나 부르짖을찌어다 네 마음을 주의 얼굴 앞에 물 쏟듯 할찌어다 각 길머리에서 주려 혼미한 네 어린 자녀의 생명을 위하여 주를 향하여 손을 들찌어다 하였도다
20여호와여 감찰하소서 뉘게 이같이 행하셨는지요 여인들이 어찌 자기 열매 곧 손에 받든 아이를 먹으오며 제사장들과 선지자들이 어찌 주의 성소에서 살륙을 당하오리이까
21노유는 다 길바닥에 엎드러졌사오며 내 처녀들과 소년들이 칼에 죽었나이다 주께서 진노하신 날에 죽이시되 긍휼히 여기지 아니하시고 살륙하셨나이다
22주께서 내 두려운 일을 사방에서 부르시기를 절기에 무리를 부름 같이 하셨나이다 여호와께서 진노하신 날에 피하거나 남은 자가 없었나이다 내 손에 받들어 기르는 자를 내 원수가 다 멸하였나이다
Lamentation02
1How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion with the cloud of his anger! He has hurled down the splendor of Israel from heaven to earth; he has not remembered his footstool in the day of his anger.
2Without pity the Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob; in his wrath he has torn down the strongholds of the Daughter of Judah. He has brought her kingdom and its princes down to the ground in dishonor.
3In fierce anger he has cut off every horn of Israel. He has withdrawn his right hand at the approach of the enemy. He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything around it.
4Like an enemy he has strung his bow; his right hand is ready. Like a foe he has slain all who were pleasing to the eye; he has poured out his wrath like fire on the tent of the Daughter of Zion.
5The Lord is like an enemy; he has swallowed up Israel. He has swallowed up all her palaces and destroyed her strongholds. He has multiplied mourning and lamentation for the Daughter of Judah.
6He has laid waste his dwelling like a garden; he has destroyed his place of meeting. The LORD has made Zion forget her appointed feasts and her Sabbaths; in his fierce anger he has spurned both king and priest.
7The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.
8The LORD determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away.
9Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from the LORD.
10The elders of the Daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The young women of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.
11My eyes fail from weeping, I am in torment within, my heart is poured out on the ground because my people are destroyed, because children and infants faint in the streets of the city.
12They say to their mothers, "Where is bread and wine?" as they faint like wounded men in the streets of the city, as their lives ebb away in their mothers' arms.
13What can I say for you? With what can I compare you, O Daughter of Jerusalem? To what can I liken you, that I may comfort you, O Virgin Daughter of Zion? Your wound is as deep as the sea. Who can heal you?
14The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The oracles they gave you were false and misleading.
15All who pass your way clap their hands at you; they scoff and shake their heads at the Daughter of Jerusalem: 'Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?'
16All your enemies open their mouths wide against you; they scoff and gnash their teeth and say, 'We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for; we have lived to see it.'
17The LORD has done what he planned; he has fulfilled his word, which he decreed long ago. He has overthrown you without pity, he has let the enemy gloat over you, he has exalted the horn of your foes.
18The hearts of the people cry out to the Lord. O wall of the Daughter of Zion, let your tears flow like a river day and night; give yourself no relief, your eyes no rest.
19Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street.
20'Look, O LORD, and consider: Whom have you ever treated like this? Should women eat their offspring, the children they have cared for? Should priest and prophet be killed in the sanctuary of the Lord?
21'Young and old lie together in the dust of the streets; my young men and maidens have fallen by the sword. You have slain them in the day of your anger; you have slaughtered them without pity.
22"As you summon to a feast day, so you summoned against me terrors on every side. In the day of the LORD's anger no one escaped or survived; those I cared for and reared, my enemy has destroyed."

예레미야애가3장
1여호와의 노하신 매로 인하여 고난 당한 자는 내로다
2나를 이끌어 흑암에 행하고 광명에 행치 않게 하셨으며
3종일토록 손을 돌이켜 자주 자주 나를 치시도다
4나의 살과 가죽을 쇠하게 하시며 나의 뼈를 꺾으셨고
5담즙과 수고를 쌓아 나를 에우셨으며
6나로 흑암에 거하게 하시기를 죽은지 오랜 자 같게 하셨도다
7나를 둘러 싸서 나가지 못하게 하시고 나의 사슬을 무겁게 하셨으며
8내가 부르짖어 도움을 구하나 내 기도를 물리치시며
9다듬은 돌을 쌓아 내 길을 막으사 내 첩경을 굽게 하셨도다
10저는 내게 대하여 엎드리어 기다리는 곰과 은밀한 곳의 사자 같으사
11나의 길로 치우치게 하시며 내 몸을 찢으시며 나로 적막하게 하셨도다
12활을 당기고 나로 과녁을 삼으심이여
13전동의 살로 내 허리를 맞추셨도다
14나는 내 모든 백성에게 조롱거리 곧 종일토록 그들의 노랫거리가 되었도다
15나를 쓴 것으로 배불리시고 쑥으로 취하게 하셨으며
16조약돌로 내 이를 꺾으시고 재로 나를 덮으셨도다
17주께서 내 심령으로 평강을 멀리 떠나게 하시니 내가 복을 잊어버렸음이여
18스스로 이르기를 나의 힘과 여호와께 대한 내 소망이 끊어졌다 하였도다
19내 고초와 재난 곧 쑥과 담즙을 기억하소서
20내 심령이 그것을 기억하고 낙심이 되오나
21중심에 회상한즉 오히려 소망이 있사옴은
22여호와의 자비와 긍휼이 무궁하시므로 우리가 진멸되지 아니함이니이다
23이것이 아침마다 새로우니 주의 성실이 크도소이다
24내 심령에 이르기를 여호와는 나의 기업이시니 그러므로 내가 저를 바라리라 하도다
25무릇 기다리는 자에게나 구하는 영혼에게 여호와께서 선을 베푸시는도다
26사람이 여호와의 구원을 바라고 잠잠히 기다림이 좋도다
27사람이 젊었을 때에 멍에를 메는 것이 좋으니
28혼자 앉아서 잠잠할 것은 주께서 그것을 메우셨음이라
29입을 티끌에 댈찌어다 혹시 소망이 있을찌로다
30때리는 자에게 뺨을 향하여 수욕으로 배불릴찌어다
31이는 주께서 영원토록 버리지 않으실 것임이며
32저가 비록 근심케 하시나 그 풍부한 자비대로 긍휼히 여기실 것임이라
33주께서 인생으로 고생하며 근심하게 하심이 본심이 아니시로다
34세상에 모든 갇힌 자를 발로 밟는 것과
35지극히 높으신 자의 얼굴 앞에서 사람의 재판을 굽게 하는 것과
36사람의 송사를 억울케 하는 것은 다 주의 기쁘게 보시는 것이 아니로다
37주의 명령이 아니면 누가 능히 말하여 이루게 하랴
38화, 복이 지극히 높으신 자의 입으로 나오지 아니하느냐
39살아 있는 사람은 자기 죄로 벌을 받나니 어찌 원망하랴
40우리가 스스로 행위를 조사하고 여호와께로 돌아가자
41마음과 손을 아울러 하늘에 계신 하나님께 들자
42우리의 범죄함과 패역함을 주께서 사하지 아니하시고
43진노로 스스로 가리우시고 우리를 군축하시며 살륙하사 긍휼을 베풀지 아니하셨나이다
44주께서 구름으로 스스로 가리우사 기도로 상달치 못하게 하시고
45우리를 열방 가운데서 진개와 폐물을 삼으셨으므로
46우리의 모든 대적이 우리를 향하여 입을 크게 벌렸나이다
47두려움과 함정과 잔해와 멸망이 우리에게 임하였도다
48처녀 내 백성의 파멸을 인하여 내 눈에 눈물이 시내처럼 흐르도다
49내 눈의 흐르는 눈물이 그치지 아니하고 쉬지 아니함이여
50여호와께서 하늘에서 살피시고 돌아보시기를 기다리는도다
51나의 성읍의 모든 여자를 인하여 내 눈이 내 심령을 상하게 하는도다
52무고히 나의 대적이 된 자가 나를 새와 같이 심히 쫓도다
53저희가 내 생명을 끊으려고 나를 구덩이에 넣고 그 위에 돌을 던짐이여
54물이 내 머리에 넘치니 내가 스스로 이르기를 이제는 멸절되었다 하도다
55여호와여 내가 심히 깊은 구덩이에서 주의 이름을 불렀나이다
56주께서 이미 나의 음성을 들으셨사오니 이제 나의 탄식과 부르짖음에 주의 귀를 가리우지 마옵소서
57내가 주께 아뢴 날에 주께서 내게 가까이 하여 가라사대 두려워 말라 하셨나이다
58주여 주께서 내 심령의 원통을 펴셨고 내 생명을 속하셨나이다
59여호와여 나의 억울을 감찰하셨사오니 나를 위하여 신원하옵소서
60저희가 내게 보수하며 나를 모해함을 주께서 다 감찰하셨나이다
61여호와여 저희가 나를 훼파하며 나를 모해하는 것
62곧 일어나 나를 치는 자의 입술에서 나오는 것과 종일 모해하는 것을 들으셨나이다
63저희가 앉든지 서든지 나를 노래하는 것을 주여 보옵소서
64여호와여 주께서 저의 손으로 행한대로 보응하사
65그 마음을 강퍅하게 하시고 저주를 더하시며
66진노로 저희를 군축하사 여호와의 천하에서 멸하시리이다
Lamentation03
1I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
2He has driven me away and made me walk in darkness rather than light;
3indeed, he has turned his hand against me again and again, all day long.
4He has made my skin and my flesh grow old and has broken my bones.
5He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
6He has made me dwell in darkness like those long dead.
7He has walled me in so I cannot escape; he has weighed me down with chains.
8Even when I call out or cry for help, he shuts out my prayer.
9He has barred my way with blocks of stone; he has made my paths crooked.
10Like a bear lying in wait, like a lion in hiding,
11he dragged me from the path and mangled me and left me without help.
12He drew his bow and made me the target for his arrows.
13He pierced my heart with arrows from his quiver.
14I became the laughingstock of all my people; they mock me in song all day long.
15He has filled me with bitter herbs and sated me with gall.
16He has broken my teeth with gravel; he has trampled me in the dust.
17I have been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is.
18So I say, 'My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the LORD.'
19I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall.
20I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.
21Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
22Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
23They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24I say to myself, 'The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.'
25The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
26it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
27It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.
28Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him.
29Let him bury his face in the dust-there may yet be hope.
30Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him, and let him be filled with disgrace.
31For men are not cast off by the Lord forever.
32Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.
33For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men.
34To crush underfoot all prisoners in the land,
35to deny a man his rights before the Most High,
36to deprive a man of justice-would not the Lord see such things?
37Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?
38Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?
39Why should any living man complain when punished for his sins?
40Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD.
41Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven, and say:
42'We have sinned and rebelled and you have not forgiven.
43'You have covered yourself with anger and pursued us; you have slain without pity.
44You have covered yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through.
45You have made us scum and refuse among the nations.
46'All our enemies have opened their mouths wide against us.
47We have suffered terror and pitfalls, ruin and destruction.'
48Streams of tears flow from my eyes because my people are destroyed.
49My eyes will flow unceasingly, without relief,
50until the LORD looks down from heaven and sees.
51What I see brings grief to my soul because of all the women of my city.
52Those who were my enemies without cause hunted me like a bird.
53They tried to end my life in a pit and threw stones at me;
54the waters closed over my head, and I thought I was about to be cut off.
55I called on your name, O LORD, from the depths of the pit.
56You heard my plea: 'Do not close your ears to my cry for relief.'
57You came near when I called you, and you said, 'Do not fear.'
58O Lord, you took up my case; you redeemed my life.
59You have seen, O LORD, the wrong done to me. Uphold my cause!
60You have seen the depth of their vengeance, all their plots against me.
61O LORD, you have heard their insults, all their plots against me-
62what my enemies whisper and mutter against me all day long.
63Look at them! Sitting or standing, they mock me in their songs.
64Pay them back what they deserve, O LORD, for what their hands have done.
65Put a veil over their hearts, and may your curse be on them!
66Pursue them in anger and destroy them from under the heavens of the LORD.

미가5장
1딸 군대여 너는 떼를 모을찌어다 그들이 우리를 에워쌌으니 막대기로 이스라엘 재판자의 뺨을 치리로다
2베들레헴 에브라다야 너는 유다 족속 중에 작을찌라도 이스라엘을 다스릴 자가 네게서 내게로 나올 것이라 그의 근본은 상고에, 태초에니라
3그러므로 임산한 여인이 해산하기까지 그들을 붙여 두시겠고 그 후에는 그 형제 남은 자가 이스라엘 자손에게로 돌아오리니
4그가 여호와의 능력과 그 하나님 여호와의 이름의 위엄을 의지하고 서서 그 떼에게 먹여서 그들로 안연히 거하게 할 것이라 이제 그가 창대하여 땅 끝까지 미치리라
5이 사람은 우리의 평강이 될 것이라 앗수르 사람이 우리 땅에 들어와서 우리 궁들을 밟을 때에는 우리가 일곱 목자와 여덟 군왕을 일으켜 그를 치리니
6그들이 칼로 앗수르 땅을 황무케 하며 니므롯 땅의 어귀를 황무케 하리라 앗수르 사람이 우리 땅에 들어와서 우리 지경을 밟을 때에는 그가 우리를 그에게서 건져 내리라
7야곱의 남은 자는 많은 백성 중에 있으리니 그들은 여호와에게로서 내리는 이슬 같고 풀위에 내리는 단비 같아서 사람을 기다리지 아니하며 인생을 기다리지 아니할 것이며
8야곱의 남은 자는 열국 중과 여러 백성 중에 있으리니 그들은 수풀의 짐승 중의 사자 같고 양떼 중의 젊은 사자 같아서 만일 지나간즉 밟고 찢으리니 능히 구원할 자가 없을 것이라
9네 손이 네 대적 위에 들려서 네 모든 원수를 진멸하기를 바라노라
10여호와께서 가라사대 그 날에 이르러는 내가 너의 말을 너의 중에서 멸절하며 너의 병거를 훼파하며
11너의 땅의 성읍들을 멸하며 너의 모든 견고한 성을 무너뜨릴 것이며
12내가 또 복술을 너의 손에서 끊으리니 네게 다시는 점장이가 없게 될 것이며
13내가 너의 새긴 우상과 주상을 너의 중에서 멸절하리니 네가 네 손으로 만든 것을 다시는 섬기지 아니하리라
14내가 또 너의 아세라 목상을 너의 중에서 빼어 버리고 너의 성읍들을 멸할 것이며
15내가 또 진노와 분한으로 청종치 아니한 나라에 갚으리라 하셨느니라
Micah 05
1Marshal your troops, O city of troops, for a siege is laid against us. They will strike Israel's ruler on the cheek with a rod.
2'But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.'
3Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor gives birth and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites.
4He will stand and shepherd his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God. And they will live securely, for then his greatness will reach to the ends of the earth.
5And he will be their peace. When the Assyrian invades our land and marches through our fortresses, we will raise against him seven shepherds, even eight leaders of men.
6They will rule the land of Assyria with the sword, the land of Nimrod with drawn sword. He will deliver us from the Assyrian when he invades our land and marches into our borders.
7The remnant of Jacob will be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for man or linger for mankind.
8The remnant of Jacob will be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, which mauls and mangles as it goes, and no one can rescue.
9Your hand will be lifted up in triumph over your enemies, and all your foes will be destroyed.
10'In that day,' declares the LORD, 'I will destroy your horses from among you and demolish your chariots.
11I will destroy the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds.
12I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.
13I will destroy your carved images and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands.
14I will uproot from among you your Asherah poles and demolish your cities.
15I will take vengeance in anger and wrath upon the nations that have not obeyed me.'

1말일에 이르러는 여호와의 전의 산이 산들의 꼭대기에 굳게 서며 작은 산들 위에 뛰어나고 민족들이 그리로 몰려갈 것이라
2곧 많은 이방이 가며 이르기를 오라 우리가 여호와의 산에 올라가서 야곱의 하나님의 전에 이르자 그가 그 도로 우리에게 가르치실 것이라 우리가 그 길로 행하리라 하리니 이는 율법이 시온에서부터 나올 것이요 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘에서부터 나올 것임이라
3그가 많은 민족 중에 심판하시며 먼 곳 강한 이방을 판결하시리니 무리가 그 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며 이 나라와 저 나라가 다시는 칼을 들고 서로 치지 아니하며 다시는 전쟁을 연습하지 아니하고
4각 사람이 자기 포도나무 아래와 자기 무화과나무 아래 앉을 것이라 그들을 두렵게 할 자가 없으리니 이는 만군의 여호와의 입이 이같이 말씀하셨음이니라
5만민이 각각 자기의 신의 이름을 빙자하여 행하되 오직 우리는 우리 하나님 여호와의 이름을 빙자하여 영원히 행하리로다
6여호와께서 말씀하시되 그 날에는 내가 저는 자를 모으며 쫓겨난 자와 내가 환난 받게한 자를 모아
7그 저는 자로 남은 백성이 되게 하며 멀리 쫓겨났던 자로 강한 나라가 되게 하고 나 여호와가 시온산에서 이제부터 영원까지 그들을 치리하리라 하셨나니
8너 양떼의 망대요 딸 시온의 산이여 이전 권능 곧 딸 예루살렘의 나라가 네게로 돌아오리라
9이제 네가 어찌하여 부르짖느냐 너희 중에 왕이 없어졌고 네 모사가 죽었으므로 네가 해산하는 여인처럼 고통함이냐
10딸 시온이여 해산하는 여인처럼 애써 구로하여 낳을찌어다 이제 네가 성읍에서 나가서 들에 거하며 또 바벨론까지 이르러 거기서 구원을 얻으리니 여호와께서 거기서 너를 너의 원수들의 손에서 속량하여 내시리라
11이제 많은 이방이 모여서 너를 쳐 이르기를 시온이 더럽게 되며 그것을 우리 눈으로 바라보기를 원하노라 하거니와
12그들이 여호와의 뜻을 알지 못하며 그 모략을 깨닫지 못한 것이라 여호와께서 곡식 단을 타작마당에 모음 같이 그들을 모으셨나니
13딸 시온이여 일어나서 칠찌어다 내가 네 뿔을 철 같게 하며 네 굽을 놋 같게 하리니 네가 여러 백성을 쳐서 깨뜨릴 것이라 내가 그들의 탈취물을 구별하여 여호와께 드리며 그들의 재물을 온 땅의 대주재께 돌리리라
Micah 04
1In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
2Many nations will come and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.' The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.
4Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the LORD Almighty has spoken.
5All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
6'In that day,' declares the LORD, 'I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief.
7I will make the lame a remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The LORD will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever.
8As for you, O watchtower of the flock, O stronghold of the Daughter of Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to the Daughter of Jerusalem.'
9Why do you now cry aloud-have you no king? Has your counselor perished, that pain seizes you like that of a woman in labor?
10Writhe in agony, O Daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the LORD will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.
11But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, 'Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!'
12But they do not know the thoughts of the LORD; they do not understand his plan, he who gathers them like sheaves to the threshing floor.
13'Rise and thresh, O Daughter of Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hoofs of bronze and you will break to pieces many nations.' You will devote their ill-gotten gains to the LORD, their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.

이사야13장
1아모스의 아들 이사야가 바벨론에 대하여 받은 경고라
2너희는 자산 위에 기호를 세우고 소리를 높여 그들을 부르며 손을 흔들어 그들로 존귀한 자의 문에 들어가게 하라
3내가 나의 거룩히 구별한 자에게 명하고 나의 위엄을 기뻐하는 용사들을 불러 나의 노를 풀게 하였느니라
4산에서 무리의 소리가 남이여 많은 백성의 소리 같으니 곧 열국 민족이 함께 모여 떠드는 소리라 만군의 여호와께서 싸움을 위하여 군대를 검열하심이로다
5무리가 먼 나라에서, 하늘 가에서 왔음이여 곧 여호와와 그 진노의 병기라 온 땅을 멸하려 함이로다
6너희는 애곡할찌어다 여호와의 날이 가까왔으니 전능자에게서 멸망이 임할 것임이로다
7그러므로 모든 손이 피곤하며 각사람의 마음이 녹을 것이라
8그들이 놀라며 괴로움과 슬픔에 잡혀서 임산한 여자 같이 고통하며 서로 보고 놀라며 얼굴은 불꽃 같으리로다
9여호와의 날 곧 잔혹히 분냄과 맹렬히 노하는 날이 임하여 땅을 황무케 하며 그 중에서 죄인을 멸하리니
10하늘의 별들과 별 떨기가 그 빛을 내지 아니하며 해가 돋아도 어두우며 달이 그 빛을 비취지 아니할 것이로다
11내가 세상의 악과 악인의 죄를 벌하며 교만한 자의 오만을 끊으며 강포한 자의 거만을 낮출 것이며
12내가 사람을 정금보다 희소케 하며 오빌의 순금보다 희귀케 하리로다
13나 만군의 여호와가 분하여 맹렬히 노하는 날에 하늘을 진동시키며 땅을 흔들어 그 자리에서 떠나게 하리니
14그들이 쫓긴 노루나 모으는 자 없는 양 같이 각기 동족에게로 돌아가며 본향으로 도망할 것이나
15만나는 자는 창에 찔리겠고 잡히는 자는 칼에 엎드러지겠고
16그들의 어린 아이들은 그 목전에 메어침을 입겠고 그 집은 노략을 당하겠고 그 아내는 욕을 당하리라
17보라 은을 돌아보지 아니하며 금을 기뻐하지 아니하는 메대 사람을 내가 격동시켜 그들을 치게 하리니
18메대 사람이 활로 청년을 쏘아 죽이며 태의 열매를 긍휼히 여기지 아니하며 아이를 가석히 보지 아니하리라
19열국의 영광이요 갈대아 사람의 자랑하는 노리개가 된 바벨론이 하나님께 멸망 당한 소돔과 고모라 같이 되리니
20그 곳에 처할 자가 없겠고 거할 사람이 대대에 없을 것이며 아라비아 사람도 거기 장막을 치지 아니하며 목자들도 그곳에 그 양떼를 쉬게 하지 아니할 것이요
21오직 들짐승들이 거기 엎드리고 부르짖는 짐승이 그 가옥에 충만하며 타조가 거기 깃들이며 들 양이 거기서 뛸 것이요
22그 궁성에는 시랑이 부르짖을 것이요 화려한 전에는 들 개가 울 것이라 그의 때가 가까우며 그의 날이 오래지 아니하리라
Isaiah13
1An oracle concerning Babylon that Isaiah son of Amoz saw:
2Raise a banner on a bare hilltop, shout to them; beckon to them to enter the gates of the nobles.
3I have commanded my holy ones; I have summoned my warriors to carry out my wrath-those who rejoice in my triumph.
4Listen, a noise on the mountains, like that of a great multitude! Listen, an uproar among the kingdoms, like nations massing together! The LORD Almighty is mustering an army for war.
5They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens-the LORD and the weapons of his wrath-to destroy the whole country.
6Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.
7Because of this, all hands will go limp, every man's heart will melt.
8Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame.
9See, the day of the LORD is coming -a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger-to make the land desolate and destroy the sinners within it.
10The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.
11I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.
12I will make man scarcer than pure gold, more rare than the gold of Ophir.
13Therefore I will make the heavens tremble; and the earth will shake from its place at the wrath of the LORD Almighty, in the day of his burning anger.
14Like a hunted gazelle, like sheep without a shepherd, each will return to his own people, each will flee to his native land.
15Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword.
16Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives ravished.
17See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold.
18Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants nor will they look with compassion on children.
19Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory of the Babylonians' pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.
20She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations; no Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there.
21But desert creatures will lie there, jackals will fill her houses; there the owls will dwell, and there the wild goats will leap about.
22Hyenas will howl in her strongholds, jackals in her luxurious palaces. Her time is at hand, and her days will not be prolonged.

이사야11장
1이새의 줄기에서 한 싹이 나며 그 뿌리에서 한 가지가 나서 결실할 것이요
2여호와의 신 곧 지혜와 총명의 신이요 모략과 재능의 신이요 지식과 여호와를 경외하는 신이 그 위에 강림하시리니
3그가 여호와를 경외함으로 즐거움을 삼을 것이며 그 눈에 보이는대로 심판치 아니하며 귀에 들리는대로 판단치 아니하며
4공의로 빈핍한 자를 심판하며 정직으로 세상의 겸손한 자를 판단할 것이며 그 입의 막대기로 세상을 치며 입술의 기운으로 악인을 죽일 것이며
5공의로 그 허리띠를 삼으며 성실로 몸의 띠를 삼으리라
6그 때에 이리가 어린 양과 함께 거하며 표범이 어린 염소와 함께 누우며 송아지와 어린 사자와 살찐 짐승이 함께 있어 어린 아이에게 끌리며
7암소와 곰이 함께 먹으며 그것들의 새끼가 함께 엎드리며 사자가 소처럼 풀을 먹을 것이며
8젖먹는 아이가 독사의 구멍에서 장난하며 젖뗀 어린 아이가 독사의 굴에 손을 넣을 것이라
9나의 거룩한 산 모든 곳에서 해됨도 없고 상함도 없을 것이니 이는 물이 바다를 덮음 같이 여호와를 아는 지식이 세상에 충만할 것임이니라
10그 날에 이새의 뿌리에서 한 싹이 나서 만민의 기호로 설 것이요 열방이 그에게로 돌아오리니 그 거한 곳이 영화로우리라
11그 날에 주께서 다시 손을 펴사 그 남은 백성을 앗수르와 애굽과 바드로스와 구스와 엘람과 시날과 하맛과 바다 섬들에서 돌아오게 하실 것이라
12여호와께서 열방을 향하여 기호를 세우시고 이스라엘의 쫓긴 자를 모으시며 땅 사방에서 유다의 이산한 자를 모으시리니
13에브라임의 투기는 없어지고 유다를 괴롭게 하던 자는 끊어지며 에브라임은 유다를 투기하지 아니하며 유다는 에브라임을 괴롭게 하지 아니할 것이요
14그들이 서으로 블레셋 사람의 어깨에 날아앉고 함께 동방 백성을 노략하며 에돔과 모압에 손을 대며 암몬 자손을 자기에게 복종시키리라
15여호와께서 애굽 해고를 말리우시고 손을 유브라데 하수 위에 흔들어 뜨거운 바람을 일으켜서 그 하수를 쳐서 일곱 갈래로 나눠 신 신고 건너가게 하실 것이라
16그의 남아 있는 백성을 위하여 앗수르에서부터 돌아오는 대로가 있게 하시되 이스라엘이 애굽 땅에서 나오던 날과 같게 하시리라
Isaiah11
1A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
2The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him-the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD -
3and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;
4but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
5Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist.
6The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.
7The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.
9They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
10In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious.
11In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea.
12He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth.
13Ephraim's jealousy will vanish, and Judah's enemies will be cut off; Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah, nor Judah hostile toward Ephraim.
14They will swoop down on the slopes of Philistia to the west; together they will plunder the people to the east. They will lay hands on Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites will be subject to them.
15The LORD will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that men can cross over in sandals.
16There will be a highway for the remnant of his people that is left from Assyria, as there was for Israel when they came up from Egypt.

1내가 또 이르노니 야곱의 두령들과 이스라엘 족속의 치리자들아 청컨대 들으라 공의는 너희의 알 것이 아니냐
2너희가 선을 미워하고 악을 좋아하여 내 백성의 가죽을 벗기고 그 뼈에서 살을 뜯어
3그들의 살을 먹으며 그 가죽을 벗기며 그 뼈를 꺾어 다지기를 남비와 솥 가운데 담을 고기처럼 하는도다
4그 때에 그들이 여호와께 부르짖을찌라도 응답지 아니하시고 그들의 행위의 악하던대로 그들 앞에 얼굴을 가리우시리라
5내 백성을 유혹하는 선지자는 이에 물면 평강을 외치나 그 입에 무엇을 채워 주지 아니하는 자에게는 전쟁을 준비하는도다 이런 선지자에 대하여 여호와께서 가라사대
6그러므로 너희가 밤을 만나리니 이상을 보지 못할 것이요 흑암을 만나리니 점 치지 못하리라 하셨나니 이 선지자 위에는 해가 져서 낮이 캄캄할 것이라
7선견자가 부끄러워하며 술객이 수치를 당하여 다 입술을 가리울 것은 하나님이 응답지 아니하심이어니와
8오직 나는 여호와의 신으로 말미암아 권능과 공의와 재능으로 채움을 얻고 야곱의 허물과 이스라엘의 죄를 그들에게 보이리라
9야곱 족속의 두령과 이스라엘 족속의 치리자 곧 공의를 미워하고 정직한 것을 굽게 하는 자들아 청컨대 이 말을 들을찌어다
10시온을 피로, 예루살렘을 죄악으로 건축하는도다
11그 두령은 뇌물을 위하여 재판하며 그 제사장은 삯을 위하여 교훈하며 그 선지자는 돈을 위하여 점 치면서 오히려 여호와를 의뢰하여 이르기를 여호와께서 우리 중에 계시지 아니하냐 재앙이 우리에게 임하지 아니하리라 하는도다
12이러므로 너희로 인하여 시온은 밭 같이 갊을 당하고 예루살렘은 무더기가 되고 성전의 산은 수풀의 높은 곳과 같게 되리라
Micah 03
1Then I said, 'Listen, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel. Should you not know justice,
2you who hate good and love evil; who tear the skin from my people and the flesh from their bones;
3who eat my people's flesh, strip off their skin and break their bones in pieces; who chop them up like meat for the pan, like flesh for the pot?"
4Then they will cry out to the LORD, but he will not answer them. At that time he will hide his face from them because of the evil they have done.
5This is what the LORD says: "As for the prophets who lead my people astray, if one feeds them, they proclaim 'peace'; if he does not, they prepare to wage war against him.
6Therefore night will come over you, without visions, and darkness, without divination. The sun will set for the prophets, and the day will go dark for them.
7The seers will be ashamed and the diviners disgraced. They will all cover their faces because there is no answer from God.'
8But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin.
9Hear this, you leaders of the house of Jacob, you rulers of the house of Israel, who despise justice and distort all that is right;
10who build Zion with bloodshed, and Jerusalem with wickedness.
11Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they lean upon the LORD and say, 'Is not the LORD among us? No disaster will come upon us.'
12Therefore because of you, Zion will be plowed like a field, Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.

미가2장
1침상에서 악을 꾀하며 간사를 경영하고 날이 밝으면 그 손에 힘이 있으므로 그것을 행하는 자는 화 있을찐저
2밭들을 탐하여 빼앗고 집들을 탐하여 취하니 그들이 사람과 그 집사람과 그 산업을 학대하도다
3그러므로 여호와의 말씀에 내가 이 족속에게 재앙 내리기를 계획하나니 너희의 목이 이에서 벗어나지 못할 것이요 또한 교만히 다니지 못할 것이라 이는 재앙의 때임이니라 하셨느니라
4그 때에 너희에게 대하여 풍사를 지으며 슬픈 애가를 불러 이르기를 우리가 온전히 망하게 되었도다 그가 내 백성의 산업을 옮겨 내게서 떠나게 하시며 우리 밭을 나누어 패역자에게 주시는도다 하리니
5그러므로 여호와의 회중에서 제비를 뽑고 줄을 띨 자가 너희 중에 하나도 없으리라
6그들이 말하기를 너희는 예언하지 말라 이것은 예언할 것이 아니어늘 욕하는 말을 그치지 아니한다 하는도다
7너희 야곱의 족속아 어찌 이르기를 여호와의 신이 편급하시다 하겠느냐 그의 행위가 이러하시다 하겠느냐 나의 말이 행위 정직한 자에게 유익되지 아니하냐
8근래에 내 백성이 대적 같이 일어나서 전쟁을 피하여 평안히 지나가는 자들의 의복중 겉옷을 벗기며
9내 백성의 부녀들을 너희가 그 즐거운 집에서 쫓아내고 그 어린 자녀에게서 나의 영광을 영영히 빼앗는도다
10이것이 너희의 쉴 곳이 아니니 일어나 떠날찌어다 이는 그것이 이미 더러워졌음이라 그런즉 반드시 멸하리니 그 멸망이 크리라
11사람이 만일 허망히 행하며 거짓말로 이르기를 내가 포도주와 독주에 대하여 네게 예언하리라 할것 같으면 그 사람이 이 백성의 선지자가 되리로다
12야곱아 내가 정녕히 너희 무리를 다 모으며 내가 정녕히 이스라엘의 남은 자를 모으고 그들을 한 처소에 두기를 보스라 양떼 같게 하며 초장의 양떼 같게 하리니 그들의 인수가 많으므로 소리가 크게 들릴 것이며
13길을 여는 자가 그들의 앞서 올라가고 그들은 달려서 성문에 이르러서는 그리로 좇아 나갈 것이며 그들의 왕이 앞서 행하며 여호와께서 선두로 행하시리라
Micah 02
1Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning's light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it.
2They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance.
3Therefore, the LORD says: 'I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity.
4In that day men will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song: 'We are utterly ruined; my people's possession is divided up. He takes it from me! He assigns our fields to traitors.' "
5Therefore you will have no one in the assembly of the LORD to divide the land by lot.
6'Do not prophesy,' their prophets say. 'Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us.'
7Should it be said, O house of Jacob: 'Is the Spirit of the LORD angry? Does he do such things?' 'Do not my words do good to him whose ways are upright?
8Lately my people have risen up like an enemy. You strip off the rich robe from those who pass by without a care, like men returning from battle.
9You drive the women of my people from their pleasant homes. You take away my blessing from their children forever.
10Get up, go away! For this is not your resting place, because it is defiled, it is ruined, beyond all remedy.
11If a liar and deceiver comes and says, 'I will prophesy for you plenty of wine and beer,' he would be just the prophet for this people!
12'I will surely gather all of you, O Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people.
13One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their king will pass through before them, the LORD at their head.'
