예레미야27장
1유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 즉위한지 오래지 아니하여서 여호와께서 말씀으로 나 예레미야에게 이르시니라
2여호와께서 이같이 내게 이르시되 너는 줄과 멍에를 만들어 네 목에 얹고
3유다 왕 시드기야를 보러 예루살렘에 온 사신들의 손에도 그것을 붙여 에돔 왕과 모압 왕과 암몬 자손의 왕과 두로 왕과 시돈 왕에게 보내며
4그들에게 명하여 그 주에게 이르게 하기를 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 말씀하시되 너희는 너희 주에게 이같이 고하라
5나는 내 큰 능과 나의 든 팔로 땅과 그 위에 있는 사람과 짐승들을 만들고 나의 소견에 옳은대로 땅을 사람에게 주었노라
6이제 내가 이 모든 땅을 내 종 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손에 주고 또 들짐승들을 그에게 주어서 부리게 하였나니
7열방이 그와 그 아들과 손자를 섬기리라 그의 땅의 기한이 이르면 여러 나라와 큰 왕이 그로 자기를 섬기게 하리라 마는
8나 여호와가 이르노라 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 섬기지 아니하는 국민이나 그 목으로 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 메지 아니하는 백성은 내가 그의 손으로 진멸시키기까지 칼과 기근과 염병으로 벌하리라
9너희는 너희 선지자나 너희 복술이나 너희 꿈꾸는 자나 너희 술사나 너희 요술객이 너희에게 이르기를 너희가 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하리라 하여도 듣지 말라
10그들은 너희에게 거짓을 예언하여서 너희로 너희 땅에서 멀리 떠나게 하며 또 나로 너희를 몰아내게 하며 너희를 멸하게 하느니라
11오직 그 목으로 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 메고 그를 섬기는 나라는 내가 그들을 그 땅에 머물러서 밭을 갈며 거기 거하게 하리라 하셨다 하라 여호와의 말이니라
12내가 이 모든 말씀대로 유다 왕 시드기야에게 고하여 가로되 왕과 백성은 목으로 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 메고 그와 그 백성을 섬기소서 그리하면 살리이다
13어찌하여 왕과 왕의 백성이 여호와께서 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하는 나라에 대하여 하신 말씀 같이 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽으려 하나이까
14왕과 백성에게 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하리라 하는 선지자의 말을 듣지 마소서 그들은 거짓을 예언하나이다
15여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 그들을 보내지 아니하였거늘 그들이 내 이름으로 거짓을 예언하니 내가 너희를 몰아 내며 너희와 너희에게 예언하는 선지자들을 멸망시키기에 이르리라 하셨나이다
16내가 또 제사장들과 그 모든 백성에게 고하여 가로되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 여호와의 집 기구를 이제 바벨론에서 속히 돌려오리라고 너희에게 예언하는 선지자들의 말을 듣지 말라 이는 그들이 거짓을 예언함이니라 하셨나니
17너희는 그들을 듣지 말고 바벨론 왕을 섬기라 그리하면 살리라 어찌하여 이 성으로 황무지가 되게 하겠느냐
18만일 그들이 선지자이고 여호와의 말씀이 그들에게 있을찐대 그들이 여호와의 집에와 유다 왕의 집에와 예루살렘에 남아 있는 기구가 바벨론으로 옮겨가지 않도록 만군의 여호와께 구하여야 할 것이니라
19만군의 여호와께서 기둥들과 놋바다와 받침들과 및 이 성에 남아 있는 기구에 대하여 이같이 말씀하시나니
20이것은 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여고니야와 유다와 예루살렘 모든 귀족을 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡아 옮길 때에 취하지 아니하였던 것이라
21만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 여호와의 집에와 유다 왕의 집에와 예루살렘에 남아 있는 그 기구에 대하여 이같이 말씀하시되
22그것들이 바벨론으로 옮김을 입고 내가 이것을 돌아보는 날까지 거기 있을 것이니라 그 후에 내가 그것을 옮겨 이곳에 다시 두리라 여호와의 말이니라
Jeremiah27
1This is the text of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders among the exiles and to the priests, the prophets and all the other people Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
2(This was after King Jehoiachin and the queen mother, the court officials and the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and the artisans had gone into exile from Jerusalem.)
3He entrusted the letter to Elasah son of Shaphan and to Gemariah son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon. It said:
4This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon:
5'Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.
6Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease.
7Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.'
8Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have.
9They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,' declares the LORD.
10This is what the LORD says: 'When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place.
11For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
12Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
14I will be found by you,' declares the LORD, 'and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,' declares the LORD, 'and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.'
15You may say, 'The LORD has raised up prophets for us in Babylon,'
16but this is what the LORD says about the king who sits on David's throne and all the people who remain in this city, your countrymen who did not go with you into exile-
17yes, this is what the LORD Almighty says: 'I will send the sword, famine and plague against them and I will make them like poor figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.
18I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth and an object of cursing and horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them.
19For they have not listened to my words,' declares the LORD, 'words that I sent to them again and again by my servants the prophets. And you exiles have not listened either,' declares the LORD.
20Therefore, hear the word of the LORD, all you exiles whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon.
21This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name: 'I will hand them over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your very eyes.
22Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse: 'The LORD treat you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned in the fire.'
23For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors' wives and in my name have spoken lies, which I did not tell them to do. I know it and am a witness to it," declares the LORD.
24Tell Shemaiah the Nehelamite,
25'This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You sent letters in your own name to all the people in Jerusalem, to Zephaniah son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the other priests. You said to Zephaniah,
26'The LORD has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada to be in charge of the house of the LORD; you should put any madman who acts like a prophet into the stocks and neck-irons.
27So why have you not reprimanded Jeremiah from Anathoth, who poses as a prophet among you?
28He has sent this message to us in Babylon: It will be a long time. Therefore build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.' "
29Zephaniah the priest, however, read the letter to Jeremiah the prophet.
30Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
31"Send this message to all the exiles: 'This is what the LORD says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has led you to believe a lie,
32this is what the LORD says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants. He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good things I will do for my people, declares the LORD, because he has preached rebellion against me.' "
예레미야28장
1이 해, 유다 왕 시드기야의 즉위한지 오래지 않은 해 곧 사년 오월에 기브온 앗술의 아들 선지자 하나냐가 여호와의 집에서 제사장들과 모든 백성 앞에서 내게 말하여 가로되
2만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하여 가라사대 내가 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 꺾었느니라
3내가 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 이곳에서 바벨론으로 옮겨간 여호와의 집 모든 기구를 두 해가 차기 전에 다시 이곳으로 가져 오게 하겠고
4내가 또 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여고니야와 바벨론으로 간 유다 모든 포로를 다시 이곳으로 돌아오게 하리니 이는 내가 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 꺾을 것임이니라 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하는지라
5선지자 예레미야가 여호와의 집에 선 제사장들의 앞과 모든 백성 앞에서 선지자 하나냐에게 말할쌔
6선지자 예레미야가 말하되 아멘, 여호와는 이 같이 하옵소서 여호와께서 네 예언대로 이루사 여호와의 집 기구와 모든 포로를 바벨론에서 이곳으로 다시 옮겨오시기를 원하노라
7그러나 너는 이제 내가 네 귀와 모든 백성의 귀에 이르는 이 말을 들으라
8나와 너 이전 선지자들이 자고로 여러 나라와 큰 국가들에 대하여 전쟁과 재앙과 염병을 예언하였느니라
9평화를 예언하는 선지자는 그 예언자의 말이 응한 후에야 그는 진실로 여호와의 보내신 선지자로 알게 되리라
10선지자 하나냐가 선지자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 취하여 꺾고
11모든 백성 앞에서 말하여 가로되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 내가 두 해가 차기 전에 열방의 목에서 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 멍에를 이 같이 꺾어버리리라 하셨느니라 하매 선지자 예레미야가 자기 길을 가니라
12선지자 하나냐가 선지자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 꺾어버린 후에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
13너는 가서 하나냐에게 말하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 네가 나무 멍에를 꺾었으나 그 대신 쇠 멍에를 만들었느니라
14만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 내가 쇠 멍에로 이 모든 나라의 목에 메워 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 섬기게 하였으니 그들이 그를 섬기리라 내가 들짐승도 그에게 주었느니라 하신다 하라
15선지자 예레미야가 선지자 하나냐에게 이르되 하나냐여 들으라 여호와께서 너를 보내지 아니하셨거늘 네가 이 백성으로 거짓을 믿게 하는도다
16그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 너를 지면에서 제하리니 네가 여호와께 패역하는 말을 하였음이라 금년에 죽으리라 하셨느니라 하더니
17선지자 하나냐가 그 해 칠월에 죽었더라
Jeremiah28
1In the fifth month of that same year, the fourth year, early in the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur, who was from Gibeon, said to me in the house of the LORD in the presence of the priests and all the people:
2"This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3Within two years I will bring back to this place all the articles of the LORD's house that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and took to Babylon.
4I will also bring back to this place Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah and all the other exiles from Judah who went to Babylon,' declares the LORD, 'for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.' "
5Then the prophet Jeremiah replied to the prophet Hananiah before the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the LORD.
6He said, "Amen! May the LORD do so! May the LORD fulfill the words you have prophesied by bringing the articles of the LORD's house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.
7Nevertheless, listen to what I have to say in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
8From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms.
9But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the LORD only if his prediction comes true.'
10Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it,
11and he said before all the people, "This is what the LORD says: 'In the same way will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon off the neck of all the nations within two years.' " At this, the prophet Jeremiah went on his way.
12Shortly after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
13"Go and tell Hananiah, 'This is what the LORD says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron.
14This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will put an iron yoke on the necks of all these nations to make them serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they will serve him. I will even give him control over the wild animals.' "
15Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, 'Listen, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies.
16Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This very year you are going to die, because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.' "
17In the seventh month of that same year, Hananiah the prophet died.
